It has been such a joy and wonderful experience writing my first book. I was born and raised in Burlington, North Carolina. I am now married and live in River Bend, North Carolina with my wonderful husband Tommy. We have one daughter and son-in-law, and now one beautiful grandson, Noah, who was born August 16, 2007. He weighed 6 pounds and 11 ounces. He is definitely the joy of my life. Hard to believe you can love someone so much so soon, but after all, isn't love great.

I am also a registered nurse with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Public Health. I have always worked in the medical field and have always enjoyed helping people. I work for the State of North Carolina and really enjoy what I do.

Writing has always been such a big part of my life. It all started in my journalism class in high school. I found it so much easier to express myself through poetry. So in 1996, I decided to send in a poem, The Little Fat Rat, to the National Library of Poetry. To my surprise, the poem was not only published, but it also received the Editor’s Choice Award as well.

A Love That Never Dies is my first published book. There will be a sequel to this one, so watch my site for information on it. I am also currently working on a couple of other books as well. Keep your eyes open and watch my websites for upcoming events. You never know when I may be in your area for a book signing.

A Love That Never Dies touches the hearts of men and women everywhere. The story of a woman who falls in love with a man who teaches her that unconditional love is rare. It is learning to accept the person for who they are and not who you want them to be. Patricia finds that love with Rob. Their romance blossoms into something that they will never forget.

The hurdles that they must jump over along the way to be together become a little more that Rob can handle. Between trying to please an ex-wife and fighting for custody of his two year old son, Patricia and Rob begin the feel the pressures of trying to build their own lives together.

With her heart shattered in the end, Patricia must try to rebuild her life without Rob. But will she ever be able to forget the man who taught her all about true love? Will her life ever be the same without the man that she had planned on spending the rest of life with?
